My main interests are econometrics, machine learning and their applications to innovation, industrial economics and trade.
In my research, I worked on several stimulating economic problems such as assessing the causal effect of COVID-19 on exporting probabilities, ranking countries according to a novel complexity index, and measuring the importance of firms' size in determining innovation.
I am actively taking part to the Economics Job Market (EJM). My job market paper title is "Product recalls market size and innovation in the pharmaceutical industry" which has been presented into several notable conferences (e.g. ASSA, DRUID2022 among others).
